About the Owner
Angee Dowdy, OTR/L is a licensed occupational therapist with 19 years of pediatric experience. She received a Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. Directly following, she pursued advanced training in sensory integration through the University of Southern California, which she uses to guide her therapeutic approach and treatment planning. She is SIPT certified and well-trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI). As a licensed occupational therapist, Angee has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including the hospital setting, center-based early intervention, clinical and school settings, and has experience leading social skills training groups. She has experience with children from birth to young adulthood. Angee has a passion for learning and teaching, and enjoys mentoring therapists as well as educating the community through trainings.
Angee resides in the Bay Area with her husband, son, daughter, goldendoodl Poppy, and four chickens. She enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, yoga, cycling, reading and completing creative activities (drawing/painting/creating).
