At Suma Kids, Inc., our mission is to support children from birth through their teen years in building strong foundational skills—always through engaging, play-based therapy. As a privately owned, certified Non-Public Agency (NPA), we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families with developmental pediatric services that are both effective and meaningful.
We provide in-clinic therapy services as well as contractual support to school districts across Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Juan counties, including charter schools and homeschool organizations. Families travel to our Concord clinic from across the greater Northern California Bay Area to experience our supportive, child-centered approach.
Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and spaces designed to create the best possible environment for growth and learning. As a small, close-knit team of experienced therapists, we believe children thrive when therapy feels like play. By using a child-directed, play-based model, we create positive, motivating sessions that encourage full participation and joy in learning. Through thorough assessment, thoughtful planning, and close collaboration with families, we tailor each experience to meet the unique needs of every child and support the entire family along the way.
