Our Social Connection & Participation programs offer neuro-affirming classes, developed and coached by a licensed OT, designed to help children build confidence, connection, and meaningful participation in social and community settings. Services are offered in both individual and small-group formats and are thoughtfully structured to meet children where they are while supporting growth in communication, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and peer interaction. We emphasize strengths, scaffolding, and adaptation. Creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and successful as they practice social skills in real and relevant ways.
To support a safe and successful group experience, children are asked to be able to participate in a small group setting with adult support. This includes following basic safety expectations, remaining with the group, and engaging in activities with support as needed. A brief pre-requisite questionnaire must be completed and approved prior to enrollment to support thoughtful group placement and the best possible fit for all participants. The questionnaire can be found by selecting the “Sign Up” button below.
Group sizes are intentionally kept small to support safety, connection, and meaningful participation. Children are grouped by approximate age and developmental considerations, with thoughtful attention to creating a supportive and successful group dynamic.
Social groups are offered in 5-week sessions, with enrollment completed by full session block.
Payment is due prior to the start of the session and secures your child’s spot. Fees apply to the full session block regardless of attendance, and make-up sessions are not available, as staffing and space are reserved in advance.
Invoices can be provided upon request if needed for submission to a payer source such as the Self-Determination Program (SDP), Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB), or other funding sources. For questions about individual coaching pricing, please contact our office directly.
To get started, please select the group you’re interested in and click the sign up button, to complete the required pre-requisite questionnaire. This information helps our team thoughtfully review each child’s strengths and support needs to ensure the best possible fit. Once the intake has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive a payment link to complete enrollment prior to the start of the session.
