Social Connection, Recreation & Community Participation

Our Social Connection, Recreation & Community Participation offerings provide neuro-affirming, community-centered supports designed to help children, teens, and families build meaningful connections, confidence, and participation in everyday social experiences. Offerings include social groups, pop-up recreational events, parent nights out, parent support gatherings, and informal community meet-ups, creating multiple entry points for connection and engagement across ages and needs.

All programs are developed and coached by a licensed occupational therapist, bringing a unique, strengths-based perspective that emphasizes social-emotional regulation through integrated play, peer modeling, and supported participation. Rather than focusing on compliance or behavior correction, activities are intentionally scaffolded and adapted to support each individual’s nervous system, communication style, and learning needs, allowing participants to experience success, connection, and belonging in authentic social settings.

Our mission is to strengthen community by creating welcoming spaces where individuals and families feel supported, understood, and connected, while honoring individuality and fostering shared growth, mutual respect, and meaningful participation.

Pop-up and Community Events

Parent Support

Our parent support gatherings offer a laid-back space for caregivers to connect, talk, and feel less alone. These donation-based meet-ups may include open conversation, shared experiences, or occasional guest speakers who join to chat about topics that come up in everyday parenting. There’s no pressure to share.  It's just an opportunity to connect, learn, and build community in a supportive environment.
